liz welchman

Liz is a New York-based designer who started in pixels but fell for paper. She floats between branding, packaging, editorial, and digital—always seeking work that feels thoughtful, beautiful, playful, and clever.

With over 20 years of experience, Liz has shaped brands and brought ideas to life for clients including Condé Nast, W Hotels, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and Victoria’s Secret. She’s also the go-to class mom for anything creative—she loves collaborating with kids and schools just as much as with big-name brands.

Her background in graphic design and visual communication gives her a unique lens for building meaningful brand narratives that connect—and convert. From concept to execution, she brings both heart and strategy to every step of the process.

She believes that good design, when done well, becomes invisible—felt more than seen. It’s only when it is done poorly that we truly notice. That belief drives her meticulous attention to detail and her desire to make design work smarter, not louder.

Liz finds glimmers everywhere—from the quiet beauty of nature to the layered energy of New York and LA, from exploring new places to the wild, wonderful chaos of raising two teenagers and two dogs. She’s drawn to the harmony of modern, mid-century, and organic design—and the in-between spaces where design becomes emotion.
